The Nature of Witches

The inspiration for this series came to me after reading a fantasy book: โ€œThe nature of witchesโ€ by Rachel Griffin.

In this wonderful book, witches live among humans and maintain the general climate of the planet with their powers. It is an homage to the force of nature and a warning about climate change, also exploring the theme of discovery and acceptance of our true selves.
The story fascinated me so much that I wanted to do something about our human nature in connection with nature.

In my research, I came across the Pentagram, a five-pointed star made of lines that intersect with each other in a continuous motion. In ancient times, it was viewed as a sign of perfection due to its mathematical purity: in modern times is most often associated with Neo-pagan religions and used mostly in witchcraft for ritual practice and protection.

In these traditions the five points represent the four natural elements, Earth, Air, Fire and Water, plus Spirit placed on the top.
All the elements work together in harmony, representing the continuous search of balance and peace within ourselves and with the natural world.
Earth grounds us, air inspires us, fire fuels our passions, water soothes our souls, and spirit ties it all together. Itโ€™s a simple yet deeply rooted way to honor the magic of life.

โ€œDiscovery is a gift: discovering ourselves, and discovering others.โ€
